Dodging the Bullet

You guys will get a real post tomorrow...but, for now:

Why are an overwhelming majority of college students so stupid? Let me pose a better question - why are they so immature and isrespectful? I understand it is a little awkward to roll out the kegs and get tanked at 3 in the afternoon, but, I would much rather be around that then why I attempt to study for a test tomorrow. Now, I would be thrilled if I didn't have to see any of that. I knew it was going to be a bad night when Angela and I pulled up to the house and girls were dancing in the parking lot. Sheesh...

Got a lot to talk about, but, too frustrated and too exhausted to share right now. Wanted to vent so I could press on.

I hear you Justin. My experience with college roomates and Thursday night parties usually ended up in bong water spilled on the carpet and my clothes smelling like a cross between Marlboro and Snoop Dogg.

Anybody like horror movies? I'm hoping to get to see some of the "8 Movies to Die For" this weekend. If you haven't heard of this, check out www.horrorfestonline.com.

I saw The Prestige a few weeks ago. Very very good in my opinion. As far as Snoop goes, wasn't he arrested recently, again?

what do you guys think about "crunk praze" as the title of the album I do w/ Ross King?

I think you should call it "I like to sing dirty dirty backbeat music"

Robert is referring to the video series produced by Reverend S.M. Davis. Pastor Davis produced a series of videos quite a few years ago with a significant "home school" approach to faith, music, child-rearing. I don't mean to offend, that's just the best way to describe it.

I think I can finally admit that the Bluebirds used to go and take S.M. Davis tapes from the church library, bring them back to Bluebird central, watch them and make fun of them.

On one particular videotape, a guest speaker was trying to illustrate the dangers of secular music and kept referring to that ...hold on...laughing...wait, wait...

"That Old Dirty Backbeat."

To which, Lance responded by shouting, "Oh, yeah? I call you 'old dirty BACKSEAT!'"

I'm sorry, I made that last part up.
